NMT is the utilization of static pressure on on specific myofascial points to relieve pain. This technique balances the central nervous system by manipulating muscles, tendons, and connective tissue. NMT addresses Ischemia, Trigger Points, Never Compression or Entrapment, Postural Distortion, and Biomechanical Dysfunction.
Orthopedic Massage uses a comprehensive approach to treatment. After assessing the condition or injury, the physiology of the condition is matched with the best treatment protocol. The following are some of the techniques that may be used: active engagement, pnf stretching, myofascial release, advanced therapeutic techniques, neuromuscular therapy, nerve mobilization techniques, positional release, muscle energy technique, myoskeletal alignment techniques, and trigger point therapy.

Deep Tissue focuses on the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. It is effective in breaking up adhesions caused by chronic muscle tension, injury, and spasm. This technique relieves pain and helps in restoring normal range of motion.
Sports Massage is designed for athletes or all those who are active, be it on a professional level or for fun. It is designed to prevent and relieve injuries or conditions that are related to sports and exercise.
Table Top Thai Massage takes traditional Thai Massage and modifies it to the table. It consists of passive yoga stretches that open energy lines to stimulate energy flow as well as increase flexibility and relieve stress and tension.
Swedish Massage relaxes the entire body with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood flow. Other Swedish strokes include effleurage, petrissage, friction, kneading, tapotement, and vibration. These strokes aide in relaxation and stress reduction
Reiki is a spiritual practice developed in 1922 by Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui. It uses a technique commonly called palm healing or hands on healing. Through the use of this technique, practitioners are transferring universal energy (i.e., reiki) in the form of qi through the palms, which allows for healing and a state of equilibrium.

This class takes a more gentle approach and will be focused around those who may have chronic pain, physical limitations preventing them from taking a "traditional" yoga class, or for those who just want to take it easy. For the most part, this class will stay on the ground either seated or lying down, with a few standing poses sprinkled in. Yin and Restorative yoga may also be taught. All levels are welcome.
Yin Yoga takes a more passive and meditative approach holding and melting into poses for 3-5 minutes. This style of yoga is directed towards the connective tissue, fascia, and joints. The poses are performed mostly on the ground. It truly teaches you to listen and be with stillness.
Alignment focused class. Learn the poses with proper form and safety for your body: bringing the pose to your body and never forcing your body into the pose.
Center your breath and body while aligning the physical and mental by practicing stillness supported by props or gentle movement for extended periods of time. Be prepared for a deep state of relaxation.

Let's break down this thing called Asana and fine tune your practice in this workshop style class! Focusing on alignment, form, and breath in different groups of poses: backbending, standing poses, balancing poses, twists, etc. culminating into a peak pose.
If the thought of taking a yoga class is daunting due to your mobility, strength, balance, illness or physical condition, chair yoga is the answer. The chair provides incredible support and therapeutic value. Yoga is for everybody and every body.
Slow, steady, and mindfully paced Hatha Yoga class. Learn to practice from self awareness as opposed to self consciousness in this alignment focused class. Learn the poses with proper form and safety for your body: bringing the pose to your body and never forcing your body into the pose. This class is great for beginners to seasoned practitioners. Along with the physical practice, there will be an infusion of Yoga philosophy, meditation, pranayama, love, and laughter
Not sure what class to start with? Have physical issues that have you concerned about taking a yoga class? Nervous that you won't be able to keep up? Concerned that you're not flexible or strong enough? No need to worry! I am passionate about teaching yoga to people just like you! I have an MS in Exercise Science and a background in dance, therapeutic massage, and alignment based yoga teacher training. I can help you learn the basics and modify poses for your ability and/or conditions to keep you safe and feeling good. I will gently assist you to begin learning yoga from a place of self awareness as opposed to self consciousness so that you are able to embrace all that yoga has to offer. I can come to your home or I have studio space in Jupiter. AND you can invite up to 3 of your friends. I can provide mats and all the props.
